Welcome to our life together. I am hoping to find you one day and we can hang out and visit. The picture below is our last picture together. I really enjoyed our time together and talking about stuff. My heart and arms are still open to you. I can’t wait to hug you again! When we do see each other again, I’m sure much will have changed since this picture was taken in January 2015. As you go through this site I’ll add some thoughts pertinent to the particular picture or year. I love you!

Some fun baby pictures. We lived in Dallas at first, your Mom and I painted the Noah’s ark and animals on your room wall. You have always been such a happy baby. Shortly after your first birthday the property got sold and we decided to move to Denton where I was going to school to get my BBA at University of North Texas.

There is a picture of you and your Great Grandfather Tomas Hernandez. Some of these were taken in Dallas and others were taken in the apartment in Denton, and your first birthday pics are at Grandma/Grandpa Gonzales in Carrollton at a local park and their back yard.

I was a swimmer as far back as I can remember. I taught lessons to children starting when I was 11 and subsequently taught Grandma Gina and other family, including you. Your Grandparents Gonzales had a pool so we needed to make you “pool safe”
The picture that says, “you and cousin Blake Gonzales” was just too cute! He now lives in California, San Louis Obispo, he just graduated from Cal Poly with his MBA.

Some family times . . . you and your sister Maria, cousin Savanna, cousins Adam, Ryan. Making tortillas with Grandma Gina. Playing Barbi with Maria.

So many trips to be with you at many times of the year.

No matter where or what we would do, you and I had fun. My silly, smart girl. Once we at the store, you asked me for my keys, to unlock the door. Then you said, “they should make a way to unlock the car door with your watch.” Imagine that!
It was hard for me to always have to see you go or me go. We never had enough time to visit. I saw you all the time in Texas, I guess that is why y’all moved.
More family pics ahead.

We loved playing chess

More of your Cousins
